The following are selected case studies of logos I have created.
Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast Logo
Objective: To design a logo based on the following information provided by the client. Named as an ode to Victoria’s late grandmother.
The original Rose Cottage is a handcrafted 1:16 or ¾ scale dollhouse gifted to her, when she was 9 years old, by her grandmother and grandfather for Christmas. In 2016 the dollhouse was renovated to bring the much loved mini home back to its original glory, with a few small elegant updates. Having always dreamed of owning a home in the country, it was in the fall of 2017 that the owners found what would be their perfect country escape, the catch, it was 10 bedrooms. What better use of space than to share this serene country escape as a Bed and Breakfast. The owner is a diagnosed Celiac, as an added bonus, ensures that Rose Cottage can cater not only to Gluten Free dietary needs but several other major allergens as well!  "Rose Cottage is the perfect place for you to travel and explore or escape and relax."
Solution: I wanted to give the logo a "country-chic homey" vibe. Like the kind of homemade wreaths, your mom used to make as a kid for the house. I tried to create that by the font I picked and the client also wanted a "rose" to be incorporated.

Skills: Illustrator, logo design, research know-how.
Joana Funk Realty - Logo Design
Objective: Logo design and ongoing brand development. The client required a logo that was friendly, approachable and professional. It needed to translate easily into various promotional materials.

Solution: I wanted to incorporate her name and a recognizable element of the industry and service she provides. By using a small letter case for her name and making it part of the structure of the house gives it a non-threatening appeal while still maintaining integrity & professionalism.

Skills: Illustrator, logo design, research know-how.
